The existing legal framework of cooperation between Moldova and Greece

The framework of treaties (24 bilateral agreements) covers a number of important areas of cooperation between the two countries. The following bilateral agreements should be flagged up:

1) Agreement on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Hellenic Republic. Signed in Moscow on 27.03.1992. In force since 27.03.1992. Published in: International Treaties, vol. 46, p. 144.

2) Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the Hellenic Republic on International Road Transport. Signed in Athens on 30.11.1992. In force since 06.01.1996.

3) Agreement between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of National Defense of the Hellenic Republic on the conditions for the granting of scholarships for students from the Republic of Moldova for training in the military education institutions of Greece.
