Travel Documents may be issued to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova who intend to return to the Republic of Moldova in case they:

• lost their international passports or they were stolen;
• their passport is deteriorated and cannot be used anymore;
• their passport is expired;
• never had an international passport;
• have entered Greece without any passport.

To receive a Travel Document, one has to present following documents:

• 2 recent pictures, size 3x4 cm (black-white pictures or copies are not accepted);
• Declaration from a police, in case when passport is lost or stolen;
• One of the following documents, if available:
  • Identity card with or without annex;
  • Expired or deteriorated passport;
  • Driving license;
  • any other document baring photo of the demander (military/reservists ID, diploma, etc.);
• Filled and signed Application form, approved by Consul.

Validity of the Travel Document is limited to 30 days and it cannot be extended. With regard to short validity term, please consider applying for a document not later then 3 weeks before planed departure to the Republic of Moldova. Travel Document is valid only for single, one-way trip with obligatory final destination – Republic of Moldova.
