The Republic of Moldova established diplomatic relations with Hellenic Republic on March 27, 1992, on the day when the Agreement on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Hellenic Republic was signed. The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova was opened in Hellenic Republic, in Athens, on 2003.

• In the Hellenic Republic – H.E. Anatol VANGHELI, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to the Hellenic Republic (accredited from July 20, 2017);
• In the Republic of Moldova – H.E. Sofia GRAMMATA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic to the Romania (covering and the Republic of Moldova)

In Chisinau, Greece established an Honorary Consulate, headed by Mr. Gheorghe DUCA.

In Chania, Crete, the Hellenic Republic, an Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Moldova was established, headed by Mr. Ioannis THEODOROGLAKIS.
